Job Summary
Coordinate and facilitate multidisciplinary staffing in person or remotely, reviewing prior and current child histories to inform decisions. Mediate disagreements among participants using conflict resolution skills to ensure the child and family remain the primary focus. Establish cooperative relationships with community-based care providers, legal services, schools, and clinical professionals while maintaining an organized tracking system for attendance. Document outcomes in the Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN) System and develop written court reports outlining decisions and participant feedback. Provide notifications to courts within 48 hours if consensus cannot be reached and ensure participants understand confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in social services or related field
- Bachelor's Degree in social services or related field
- three (3) years' experience in Child Welfare
- current Background Clearance Screening Letter
- valid Florida driver's license
- ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Strong organizational and data management skills
- Knowledge of child welfare system
- Ability to apply quality assurance methods, interpret outcomes and measure data
- Ability to identify trends, interpret and monitor data in order to establish best practices as well as implement quality improvement and corrective action
- Knowledge of computer programs and ability to learn internal systems
