Job Summary
Senior Mechanical Technician in Gore's Shenzhen FAB workshop responsible for machine preventive maintenance, daily troubleshooting, and rapid resolution of machine issues. Responsibilities include recording maintenance-related data and project documents, supporting Design Engineer to upgrade and modify equipment, preparing spare parts, and collaborating with teammates to achieve goals. Requires a college/university degree in a mechanical field, at least 3 years of maintenance experience, proficiency with AutoCAD/SolidWorks for parts drawings, capability to operate lathes, milling machines, welding and drilling, ability to work night shifts, and willingness to travel up to 5%.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from college or university in mechanical related subject
- 3+ years machine maintenance experience
- Familiar with AutoCAD and SolidWorks; able to draw parts drawings independently
- Able to operate machine equipment (lathe, milling, welding, drilling)
- Willing to work shifts including night shifts
- Able to travel up to 5%
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Good teamwork and cooperation
