Job Summary
Maintain and repair plant structures and thermoforming production equipment. Perform machine shop work, welding, fabrication, and repair of mobile diesel-powered equipment. Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, read drawings, and operate forklifts, cranes, and lifts. Complete physical maintenance tests and adhere to safety protocols. Work 12-hour rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Requires five years of industrial manufacturing experience, completed apprenticeship, and willingness to work overtime.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of industrial experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent military service
- Experience in machine shop equipment, welding, fabrication, and repair of mobile equipment (especially diesel powered)
- Good equipment troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and systems
- Ability to read drawings and perform layout work, operate forklifts, cranes, and lifts
- Completed an apprenticeship program
- Ability to perform physically demanding job activities
- Ability to pass written and hands-on maintenance test
- Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime
