Job Summary
The Multi-Craft Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical plant equipment; troubleshoot and repair motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes; read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings; install, maintain, and upgrade electrical wiring, control systems, and mechanical components; collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability; maintain CMMS records; ensure safety, environmental, and quality standards; participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, etc.) and electrical systems (480V, 3-phase, controls, PLCs)
- Ability to use diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and basic computer skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
