Job Summary
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues across highly automated machinery, focusing on complex low-voltage controls, PLCs, and robotic CNC cells. Navigate ladder logic across multiple platforms while performing precision machine alignments and maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Execute scheduled preventive maintenance to proactively flag developing issues before they cause downtime. Log work performed and downtime causes during shift handoffs to ensure seamless operations. This role involves rotating 12-hour shifts on a 4-on, 4-off schedule with total pay ranging from $32.67 to $34.67 per hour. The company provides a robust, formalized training program to bridge technical gaps and advance skills in automation.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in an automated manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to handle both mechanical and electrical breakdowns independently
- Ability to read ladder logic, trace electrical faults, and troubleshoot PLC-driven equipment
- Experience with equipment teardowns, rebuilding cylinders, and correcting alignments on rails, slides, and ball screws
- Confident in troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic cylinders, valves, and fluid power systems
- Strong diagnostic approach; ability to walk into unfamiliar automation problems, isolate the issue, and execute a safe, effective fix
- Rotating 12 hour shifts
- 4 on, 4 off schedule
- Evening Shift: 6:00pm - 6:30am
Desired Qualifications
- Previous exposure to troubleshooting industrial robotics and automated material handling
- TCAT, or other technical training/certifications
- Strong tenure across work history and proven reliability
