Job Summary
Install, repair, maintain, and align production machinery, electrical equipment, and facility systems using hand and power tools to close tolerances. Diagnose trouble, determine repair extent, and replace parts while adhering to lock-out/tag-out procedures and safety protocols. Design, program, and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) systems; complete work orders, PM rounds, and general maintenance tasks. Lay out carpentry work, specify materials, and manage tool boards. Reorder supplies as needed and report irregularities to the Maintenance department. Participate in training sessions and train new associates.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) years industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, service manuals and maintenance records
- Understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, electrical and electronic control systems, pneumatics, HVAC, rubber industry production equipment internal combustion engines, single and three phase electric motors
- Ability to perform basic math (i.e., addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Strong computer/systems skills - MS Office (Excel/Word/Outlook)
- Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong cooperation and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- High degree of concentration with attention to detail, high energy, and self-motivation
- Ability to manage demands and deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events through organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coach and train Associates
- Ability to interact well with all personality types
Desired Qualifications
- Associate Degree or Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
- Successful completion of Competency Assessment
- Three (3) years industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing
- Familiarity of E-Maintenance
