Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician needed to safely maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical components of complex production equipment in a 24/7 paper-converting operation. Responsibilities include following OSHA and company safety rules, reading SOPs and work orders, performing preventive maintenance, maintaining plant support systems (air, heat, compressors, dryers), wiring and installing electrical components and panels, applying electrical theory, using test equipment to diagnose issues, reading manuals and schematics, ensuring clean and safe maintenance spaces, maintaining warranties, and assisting in data acquisition and reporting. The role involves automation and control system updates (including PLC/HMI work and control-system upgrades), collaboration with maintenance and operations to maximize machine performance, and supporting operations to run machines at centerline conditions. Required experience includes a minimum of 3 years in manufacturing (packaging/converting preferred), and strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills; a valid electrical license and PLC/HMI programming experience are pluses. Starting pay is $30.00 per hour with a relocation package after 60 days, and the location is Newton, NC with 12-hour shift rotations.
