Job Summary
Be the go-to expert who keeps Perdue Farms' operation at its best as a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician on 1st shift (2pm-11pm). Work across departments to support safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations; perform complex technical tasks, demonstrate maintenance proficiency (Maintenance Tech III level) within 10 months, and apply PLC troubleshooting to electrical and instrumentation control systems. Conduct root cause analysis, troubleshoot AC/DC/Servo motor control systems, and collaborate with production associates to solve problems with reliability and urgency. Maintain records, report findings clearly, drive continuous improvement, mentor lower-level techs, and uphold safety practices; salary range is $32.25-$48.25 per hour with potential overtime and annual bonus, plus a comprehensive benefits package. Schedule: Monday–Friday, with weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ Years experience in Industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, problem-solving and repairs on Mechanical and Electrical Equipment, and/or Equivalent Military Experience.
- Expert Proficiency in Hydraulics, Mechanics, Electrical, PLC, Welding and Rigging.
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED; 2-year Technical Degree in Engineering or Industrial Maintenance (preferred).
- Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing.
