Job Summary
Maintenance Technician responsible for installing, trouble-shooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical systems of plant/production machinery. Responsibilities include setting up level and parallel rolls, inspecting equipment, disassembling/repairing bearings/gears/seals, completing PMs, reading and following electrical/mechanical schematics, troubleshooting pneumatic/hydraulic systems and PLCs, maintaining safe working practices, and collaborating with maintenance crew to ensure equipment runs efficiently within safety and environmental guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years related experience and/or training
- Corrugated experience
- Technical degree or related experience
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Ability to read mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems
- Excellent people skills and communication, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong work ethic with emphasis on safety
- Drug screening after conditional offer
