Job Summary
Travel-heavy Multi-Craft Field Service Technician Level 3-5 responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and operating overhead cranes and hoists. Duties include troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting cranes and hoists; performing scheduled preventive maintenance; evaluating repair needs and recommending improvements; maintaining customer rapport through responsive service; documenting actions; ensuring OSHA/ANSI-equivalent inspections; and completing installation tasks. Requires strong electrical and mechanical skills; welding/fabrication/rigging experience is a plus; valid driver’s license and ability to pass drug screening and background checks; travel within approximately 200 miles. Required Qualifications
- 4 to 5 years electrical and mechanical skills
- Welding, fabrication, layout, burning, fitting, and rigging experience is a huge plus
- Experience with overhead cranes is desirable
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required
- OSHA 10 required
- Must be able to pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
