Job Summary
Lead multiple Planet Fitness locations by providing direction to Club Managers and Assistant Managers, conducting operational walkthroughs, and holding teams accountable for sales, staffing, cleanliness, and profitability. Manage daily operations across assigned clubs, including facility inspections, maintenance oversight, and ensuring compliance with safety and brand standards. Drive membership growth by monitoring sales goals, coaching managers on sales processes, and analyzing performance trends to improve retention and revenue. Oversee staffing levels, review schedules for labor efficiency, and participate in hiring and development decisions to build a strong leadership bench.
Required Qualifications
- Previous management experience in a fitness, retail, hospitality, sales, or customer-service environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop employees
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability to senior leadership
- Ability to travel between assigned Planet Fitness locations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when business needs require
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to regularly move throughout a fitness facility
- Ability to lift and carry items as required for normal club operations
- Ability to inspect equipment, facilities, locker rooms, and other areas of the club
