Job Summary
Provide leadership and operational oversight for multiple Planet Fitness locations, ensuring consistent execution of brand standards, safety protocols, and profitability goals. Conduct regular facility inspections, monitor staffing levels and scheduling, and coach management teams on sales processes, customer service, and performance improvement. Develop Club Managers and Assistant Managers through mentorship and succession planning while addressing corrective actions for operational or financial shortfalls. Analyze membership growth trends, Black Card penetration, and member satisfaction scores to drive revenue and retention. Travel between assigned clubs to enforce policies, resolve maintenance issues, and maintain the Judgment Free Zone environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous management experience in a fitness, retail, hospitality, sales, or customer-service environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop employees
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability to senior leadership
- Ability to travel between assigned Planet Fitness locations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when business needs require
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to regularly move throughout a fitness facility
- Ability to lift and carry items as required for normal club operations
- Ability to inspect equipment, facilities, locker rooms, and other areas of the club
