Job Summary
Lead multiple Planet Fitness locations by providing direction to Club Managers and Assistant Managers, establishing clear goals, and conducting regular operational walkthroughs to ensure consistent execution of brand standards. Monitor daily operations, staffing levels, and facility inspections while enforcing cleanliness, safety, and the Judgment Free Zone® philosophy. Drive sales and membership growth by analyzing performance metrics, coaching managers on sales processes, and developing strategies to increase revenue and Black Card penetration. Manage staffing through scheduling reviews, hiring decisions, and training compliance, ensuring labor efficiency and accurate timekeeping. Hold management teams accountable for profitability, labor costs, and operational excellence while identifying and resolving performance issues promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Previous management experience in a fitness, retail, hospitality, sales, or customer-service environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop employees
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability to senior leadership
- Ability to travel between assigned Planet Fitness locations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when business needs require
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to regularly move throughout a fitness facility
- Ability to lift and carry items as required for normal club operations
- Ability to inspect equipment, facilities, locker rooms, and other areas of the club
