Job Summary
Provide leadership and operational oversight for multiple Planet Fitness locations, ensuring consistent execution of company standards across assigned clubs. Conduct regular facility inspections, operational walkthroughs, and management meetings to hold teams accountable for sales goals, cleanliness, safety, and profitability. Develop Club Managers and Assistant Managers through coaching, mentorship, and succession planning while reinforcing the Judgment Free Zone® philosophy and member service standards. Monitor staffing levels, scheduling, and labor efficiency, then analyze performance reports to drive corrective action and revenue growth. Ensure all employees complete required training and certification programs while maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Previous management experience in a fitness, retail, hospitality, sales, or customer-service environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop employees
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability to senior leadership
- Ability to travel between assigned Planet Fitness locations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when business needs require
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to regularly move throughout a fitness facility
- Ability to lift and carry items as required for normal club operations
- Ability to inspect equipment, facilities, locker rooms, and other areas of the club
