Job Summary
Provide leadership to Club Managers and Assistant Managers across multiple locations while establishing clear expectations and holding teams accountable for results. Conduct regular facility inspections, operational walkthroughs, and coaching sessions to ensure consistent execution of Planet Fitness standards, cleanliness, and safety protocols. Monitor daily staffing, scheduling, and labor efficiency to optimize productivity, while overseeing sales goals, membership growth, and Black Card penetration. Manage training compliance, succession planning, and performance improvements to develop future leaders and maintain exceptional member service.
Required Qualifications
- Previous management experience in a fitness, retail, hospitality, sales, or customer-service environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop employees
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability to senior leadership
- Ability to travel between assigned Planet Fitness locations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when business needs require
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to regularly move throughout a fitness facility
- Ability to lift and carry items as required for normal club operations
- Ability to inspect equipment, facilities, locker rooms, and other areas of the club
