Job Summary
Provide leadership and operational oversight for multiple Planet Fitness locations, ensuring consistent execution of brand standards, sales goals, and profitability across all assigned clubs. Conduct regular facility inspections, walkthroughs, and meetings to hold management teams accountable for cleanliness, safety, staffing, and member service. Develop Club Managers and Assistant Managers through coaching, mentorship, and succession planning while monitoring training compliance and performance metrics. Drive membership growth by analyzing trends, optimizing sales processes, and enforcing the Judgment Free Zone® philosophy. Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and hiring decisions to maintain labor efficiency and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Previous management experience in a fitness, retail, hospitality, sales, or customer-service environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop employees
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability to senior leadership
- Ability to travel between assigned Planet Fitness locations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when business needs require
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to regularly move throughout a fitness facility
- Ability to lift and carry items as required for normal club operations
- Ability to inspect equipment, facilities, locker rooms, and other areas of the club
