Job Summary
Multi-Classroom Teacher to provide high-quality instruction and classroom support across infancy through school age, implementing LeafSpring School’s philosophy and curriculum. Responsibilities include supervising and guiding daily activities, managing classrooms, supporting substitute teachers and volunteers, ensuring curriculum integrity, creating developmentally appropriate lesson plans, fostering children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development, maintaining a safe and engaging environment, communicating with families, documenting progress, and participating in training and professional development. Must maintain CPR and First Aid certifications and be flexible to support campus needs with a schedule that may span early morning to early evening.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- CPR and First Aid Certification required or willingness to obtain within six months
- Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or related field with at least one year of experience OR Degree in a non-related field with a minimum of two years teaching experience in a group setting OR CDA in Early Childhood Education with at least three years of classroom experience OR actively enrolled in coursework toward a degree or certificate in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Minimum of one year of experience preferred, ideally in a NAECY-accredited program
