Job Summary
Own the development, maintenance, and strategic governance of S4 Capital's integration layer, acting as both a hands-on MuleSoft Expert and an operational Leader for a small, focused team. Lead, mentor, and unblock integration developers to ensure code quality, architectural consistency, and adherence to sprint goals while overseeing task assignments and technical debt management. Design, build, and deploy secure, scalable APIs using Anypoint Studio, Mule Runtime, and CloudHub, while enforcing best practices for API-led connectivity and data mapping. Ensure every integration modification undergoes a documented change control process to mitigate platform outages and maintain a comprehensive integration registry for audit and compliance. Translate business needs from Finance, HR, and Sales into efficient integration logic and serve as the escalation point for complex integration errors.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or managing a technical team of developers in a remote or distributed environment
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience within the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4 preferred)
- MuleSoft Certified Developer or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect
- Deep understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, RAML/OAS design, DataWeave transformations, and API security protocols (OAuth, TLS, API Keys)
- Exceptional English communication skills - capable of translating complex technical dependencies for business leaders and managing regional stakeholders
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
