Job Summary
Senior MuleSoft Integration Engineer needed to design, build, and operate enterprise integration solutions on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. Own the integration lifecycle from API design to deployment, observability, and ongoing optimization. Translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions by leveraging API-led connectivity (System/Process/Experience APIs), DataWeave transformations, and reusable connectors. Responsibilities include designing/publishing APIs, configuring runtimes (CloudHub/Runtime Fabric/Hybrid), enforcing API security (OAuth2, mTLS, JWT), building event-driven integrations (Anypoint MQ, Kafka), optimizing performance, building CI/CD pipelines (Maven, Anypoint CLI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins), migrating legacy integrations, implementing monitoring/alerting, maintaining comprehensive documentation, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with security and architecture teams. The role requires strong communication, production-quality code, and a track record of shipping meaningful integration work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelore29s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Five or more years of integration experience with a strong focus on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Strong hands-on experience with Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, and Mule runtime
- Solid understanding of API-led connectivity and RAML/OAS API design
- Hands-on experience with CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or Hybrid deployment
- Experience with API security standards (OAuth2, mTLS, JWT) and Anypoint API Manager
- Working knowledge of CI/CD for MuleSoft
- Familiarity with event-driven integration using Anypoint MQ or Kafka
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
- Experience integrating with major SaaS platforms (Salesforce, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow)
