MTSS Interventionist

Job Summary
MTSS Interventionist delivers small group and individual interventions aligned to student needs; utilizes MTSS, diagnostic tools, intervention strategies, and progress monitoring to assess and support students; analyzes student data and makes data-driven recommendations for intervention adjustments; maintains accurate intervention documentation and prepares reports; collaborates with classroom teachers, counselors, psychologists, social workers, and special education staff to support differentiated instruction and student supports; participates in MTSS meetings, problem-solving teams, and data-review meetings; leads universal screening reviews and intervention planning; communicates with parents/guardians about intervention plans and student progress as appropriate; maintains confidentiality of student records and adheres to district policies and state/federal regulations; participates in professional development related to MTSS and intervention practices; assumes other duties as assigned by the director of curriculum & instruction or building principal.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Endorsement in elementary education, special education, reading specialist, school social work, school psychology, or related field preferred
- Experience working with students requiring academic and/or behavioral interventions
- Knowledge of MTSS, diagnostic tools, intervention strategies, and progress monitoring tools
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze student data and implement targeted interventions
