Job Summary
Lead organization-wide architectures and methodologies for electrical hardware design across multiple platforms; own end-to-end system architecture for firing systems and control/measurement platforms (Inferno / LCS) and drive platform strategy to enable reusable, scalable designs. Develop and guide roadmaps, assess emerging technologies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners. Oversee part qualification, quality plans, factory witness testing, and manufacturing process qualifications; monitor and report performance metrics. Provide domain-specific leadership in electrical/electronic hardware and platform oversight, mentor senior engineers, build an Embedded Systems Center of Excellence, and ensure designs meet safety, environmental, and performance constraints. Engage with cross-organization projects, participate in executive reviews, and drive governance to avoid silos while balancing performance, reliability, and cost.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering, or related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence
- Typically has 10+ years of work experience in electrical design and tools, software packages, architecture of electronic hardware, or related field
