Job Summary
Build, assemble, wire, and rework robotic and electromechanical subsystems including actuators, sensors, power systems, and structural assemblies. Support integration, bring-up, debugging, and root-cause analysis across electrical and mechanical systems by executing test plans, collecting data, and maintaining test fixtures. Fabricate cable harnesses, install components, perform fit checks, and partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and maintain development momentum. Requires 5+ years of experience supporting complex electromechanical systems with strong hands-on skills in soldering, cable routing, and bench troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a robotics or mechatronics technician role supporting electromechanical systems
- Strong hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, soldering, cable/harness fabrication, and bench troubleshooting
- Comfortable using common lab and shop tools, test equipment, and basic mechanical fabrication equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, CAD drawings, work instructions, and assembly documentation
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced development environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting robotic systems, preferably humanoid and/or manipulation robots
- Experience with prototype builds and transition to manufacturing
