MTS Chemist

Mobile Technical Services Chemist responsible for organising hazardous waste collections from client sites (primarily the University of Cambridge) and delivering to waste transfer site, ensuring compliance with current UK legislation and health & safety policies. Duties include packing hazardous waste for transportation, maintaining materials on site, compiling waste manifests and documentation, performing risk assessments at client sites, and providing advice to waste producers. Qualifications include: minimum HNC level in Chemistry or related discipline; technically competent in handling hazardous waste; experience packing hazardous waste for transport and disposal; computer literate; EU driving licence for at least two years. The role emphasizes being hard-working, autonomous, and able to develop relationships with customers and identify opportunities.
