Job Summary
Conduct hands-on assembly, wiring, inspection, and rework of humanoid robot electrical and mechanical systems, including cable harness fabrication, component installation, and structural adjustments. Execute assembly procedures for actuators, sensors, and power subsystems while documenting results and maintaining fixtures. Support system integration, bring-up, and functional testing across prototype and production hardware. Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve build issues and improve assembly quality. Requires 5+ years in robotics electromechanical assembly with proficiency in reading schematics, CAD drawings, and using precision measurement tools.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a robotics, electromechanical assembly, or manufacturing technician role
- Strong hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, soldering, cable/harness fabrication, and rework
- Comfortable using common lab and shop tools, precision measurement equipment, and torque-controlled tools
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, CAD drawings, work instructions, BOMs, and assembly documentation
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced development environment
- Must be able to go through the E-Verify process of digital verification of your employment authorization documents
Desired Qualifications
- Experience assembling robotic systems, preferably humanoid and/or manipulation robots
- Experience with prototype builds, low-volume production, and transition to manufacturing
