Job Summary
Provide non-medical, in-home care services including companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and assistance with activities of daily living such as dressing, eating, bathing, and toileting. Transport clients to and from appointments and activities while carrying out specific tasks outlined in their Care Plan. Collaborate with the Home Helpers team and client families to create compassionate solutions for unique needs. Maintain a professional appearance, follow a drug screen and background check, and hold a valid driver's license with current auto insurance and a clean driving record. Must be at least 18 years old, punctual, dependable, and self-motivated.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Must be a good communicator
- Must be able to follow and complete a list of tasks within a given time period
- Must be punctual and dependable
- Must be self-motivated and have a professional, pleasant, positive, and helpful disposition
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Hold a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record
- Have a smart phone and email account
- Pass a drug screen and background check
- Willing to take a TB test
