MT/MLT/Laboratory Scientist: 36 Hours Per Week (AM/PM)

Job Summary
Process specimens, perform waived, moderate, and high complexity tests, and report results according to established procedures. Participate fully in quality control procedures and comply with quality assurance standards within the department, adhering to JCAHO, CAP, CLIA, and other applicable agency guidelines. Perform specimen collection as necessary when authorized by the Director. This role operates under a 36-hour week with days or evenings shifts, utilizing a 10 hours on/7 off rotation. Weekend and holiday rotations are assigned as needed. Candidates must hold an associate or bachelor's degree in laboratory science or related fields with at least one year of clinical laboratory experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution
- Bachelor degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology from an accredited college or university
- Bachelor degree in chemical, physical or biological sciences
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1 year of pertinent full-time clinical laboratory experience or training
