Job Summary
Supervise up to 10 campers during on-hill and off-hill activities, including mountain biking, arts and crafts, and waterfall hikes. Conduct daily morning roll calls, ensure helmet safety, and deliver structured technical instruction while coordinating video reviews at least twice daily. Lead specialized clinics every other day, manage group logistics for airport shuttles, and complete digital incident reports immediately following any accidents. Build individualized balance plans, facilitate goal setting, and provide comprehensive mid and end-of-session evaluations to each camper.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- CPR w/AED & First Aid Certified prior to start date
- Valid US Drivers License
- Must be available to start work in Oregon on July 5th
- High level of coaching experience
- Experience working with children as a leader
- Knowledge of coaching progressions
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to repeatedly lift 75 pounds
- Ability to move heavy luggage
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders
- Ability to ride a bicycle
- Ability to be physically able to participate in all activities
- Ability to verbally communicate with campers, staff and parents
- Ability to provide information in a coherent manner
- Ability to follow all ACA requirements and standards
- Ability to agree to random drug tests or drug tests required after any accident or Workers Compensation claim
