Job Summary
Conduct assessments and provide Multi-Systemic Therapy to juvenile court and child welfare involved youth and families in office, home, and community settings across Trumbull and Mahoning Counties. Engage primary caregivers and natural supports in active, change-oriented treatment by developing therapeutic relationships and delivering interventions within the family unit. Collaborate with juvenile court, child welfare, schools, and community organizations to keep youth with their families, in school, and free of new charges. Work flexibly with on-call duties, participating in clinical supervision, team meetings, and quality assurance steps. Requires a Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy with current Ohio licensure as an LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy
- current licensure by the State of Ohio as an LSW, LISW, LPC or LPCC
- desire and ability to work with families and youth in a non-traditional therapeutic setting (home and community based)
- ability to work within the context of a flexible schedule
- ability to intervene with families
- willingness to adhere to the MST model of service delivery
- some experience in the mental health field or working with the identified client population
