Job Summary
Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier's checks, money orders, and cash advances. Balance your cash drawer and maintain accurate daily transactions. Identify opportunities to recommend products and services that meet members' financial needs. Answer incoming calls, respond to member questions, and resolve concerns with professionalism. Welcome members and provide an exceptional service experience from start to finish. Assist with administrative duties including scanning, filing, data entry, and other support tasks. This role offers a competitive salary of $19.25-20.25/hr, a sign-on bonus, health insurance, and a 6% 401(k) match within a rapidly growing credit union.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Up to six months of cash handling, teller, retail banking, customer service, or related experience
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable cross selling products and services that genuinely benefit members
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Strong math, computer, and keyboarding skills
