Job Summary
Branch MSR role handling member interactions and transactions, guiding members on credit union services, and educating members on products. Responsibilities include initiating conversations to identify member needs, cross-selling financial products, resolving complex or escalated issues with professionalism, maintaining confidentiality, and providing world-class member service. The position requires experience in member service operations, online/mobile banking support, and the ability to open and maintain accounts (Checking, IRAs, CDs, fiduciary and other accounts), process deposits/withdrawals/loans, and assist with notary services. Training and continuous learning are emphasized, with a focus on compliance with BSA/CIP rules. Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, plus the ability to multi-task, are essential; proficiency in MS Office and web-based applications is expected. This is a non-exempt, hourly, full-time branch position based in El Paso, TX (El Paso area), with occasional Saturdays.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- minimum of two years credit union and/or banking experience
- sales experience preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- critical thinking and problem solving
- detail-oriented and able to multi-task
- proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based applications
