Job Summary
NYC MSP Mid-Level Field Technician (Mac/Windows) provides both remote and on-site technical support in the greater New York metropolitan area from Midtown Manhattan. The role requires proficiency across Windows and Mac environments, with responsibilities including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, documenting work and assets, and collaboration with internal teams and external vendors. Strong customer-facing skills and experience with network troubleshooting, email security, server issues, and backups are essential. Familiarity with DNS, VPNs, SSL administration, Hyper-V/VMware, MDM products, and enterprise tools (M365/Google Admin Console, Google Workspace, SharePoint, ConnectWise) is preferred. The position asks for 3+ years of cross-platform support experience, ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment with on-call rotation.
