Job Summary
Deliver engaging instruction in accordance with the approved MSMA curriculum, maintain classroom and clinical lab environments that promote hands-on learning, provide regular feedback and guidance to students, participate in campus events (open houses, graduation, student enrichment), maintain accurate attendance, grading, and student records, and collaborate with faculty to support student retention and completion. The ideal candidate will bring formal medical assisting credentials (certificate/diploma/degree) and 3 years of clinical experience, must be certified or able to obtain CMA/RMA/LPN/RN/CCMA certification within 90 days, and be available for morning and/or evening classes two to three nights per week. Preferred qualifications include an Associate’s degree or higher in a healthcare-related field, experience in a medical office setting, and experience teaching.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program, having earned a certificate, diploma, or degree
- Three (3) years of recent experience in a medical facility
- Must be certified or registered (CMA, RMA, LPN, RN, or CCMA), or able to obtain certification within 90 days of hire
- Availability to work Morning (8:30 - 3:00pm) for Morning Classes and/or afternoon/evening hours (5:00 PM – 10:30 PM) two to three nights per week
