Job Summary
Orient on each unit performing three 12-hour shifts until rotating through specific Service Line units. Work with a mentor to care for patients and develop nursing foundation and skills necessary for positive patient outcomes. Complete BLS before the conclusion or orientation period. Upon program completion, select a preferred Service Line unit for hire and complete unit-specific orientation. This 6-week or longer internship expands current nursing knowledge and skills within Huntsville Hospital's Level 1 Trauma Center and specialized Orthopedic & Spine Tower.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- Current Alabama licensure
- BLS certification before the conclusion or orientation period

- New nursing school graduate
- Experienced
