Job Summary
Lead scientific and technical relationships with thought leaders and external experts in assigned geographic areas, facilitating investigator-initiated studies and providing safe, effective product support. Deliver credible presentations to Tier 1 and 2 physicians, manage post-marketing clinical activities including registry projects and epidemiological surveys, and facilitate medical field intelligence on competitor research and strategies. Collaborate on publication support, assist with named patient or compassionate use requests, and partner with internal teams to develop scientific expertise. Attend relevant conferences to summarize key data for strategic priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in English
- Advanced degree (e.g. PharmD., MD, PhD) in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g. Neuroscience)
- Experience in developing and maintaining expert knowledge for the assigned therapeutic area
- Experience in medical research in general
- Solid knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment and the role of Medical Affairs
- Demonstrated expertise in the scientific methods applied to clinical research
- Demonstrated expertise in current legislative/regulatory controls applicable to this research
- Ability to comprehensively learn about new subject areas and environments
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with thought leaders, physicians and other healthcare decision makers
- High customer orientation
- Strong commitment to compliance with the relevant rules and procedures
- Strong commitment to scientific quality and integrity
