Job Summary
Lead the Caplyta US Northeast Medical Science Liaison team by driving regional strategy, executing field programs, and ensuring compliant scientific engagement across the Great Lakes, Ohio Valley, and Midwest territories. Conduct routine strategy reviews with direct reports, leverage data and AI tools to guide decision-making, and provide strength-based coaching focused on scientific acumen, presentation skills, and career development. Manage team performance through regular field visits, observation, and 1:1s while overseeing training, succession planning, and recruitment to build a diverse, high-performing group. Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs and internal partners to translate TA strategy into actionable priorities, generate insights for evidence-based lifecycle planning, and champion a culture of integrity and excellence.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a master's degree
- PharmD, PhD, MD
- Minimum of 8 years
- A minimum of 4 years of pharmaceutical industry
- A minimum of 2 years of MSL experience
- Previous people management responsibility
- Must live in their assigned region
- In close proximity to an airport
- This role requires regional travel of approx. 60%
- including overnight travel

- A valid US driver's license
- Demonstrated commitment to learning emerging technologies, such as AI, through exploration, iteration, and applying new tools over time
