Job Summary
Conduct issuer-level municipal credit research by analyzing financial performance, operating trends, and security structures to support fundamental credit and relative value analysis. Collect, maintain, and analyze financial, market, and statistical data while developing quantitative models, data tools, and AI-enabled workflows to enhance research efficiency. Monitor assigned credits through periodic financial reporting, news sources, and peer comparisons, then write surveillance reports and present findings to colleagues. Build spreadsheets and dashboards that consolidate multi-source information into usable research outputs, and assist senior analysts on sector reviews, issuer deep dives, and portfolio surveillance projects.
