MSHS Wildcat Girls Basketball Coaches (3 positions)

Mt Spokane High School seeks Wildcat Girls Basketball Coaches to lead and develop athletes in a high school program. Responsibilities include instructing athletes on techniques, rules, and safety; developing and organizing a practice program (3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.); supervising athletes during practices, games, camps, and travel; promoting the interscholastic program and upholding ethical conduct; fostering sportsmanship and student growth; ensuring completion of required documentation and medical examinations; communicating with parents regarding team rules and policies; adhering to the Mead School District athletic policies and WIAA rules; maintaining health plans and documentation, including insurance forms; annual WIAA clinic participation; maintaining equal opportunities per nondiscrimination policy; and completing required trainings (First Aid/CPR, trainings as required). Additional duties for Head Coach include scheduling with the athletic director, evaluating assistant coaches, assigning responsibilities, and managing playing time in coordination with assistants. Qualifications emphasize positive attitude, reliability with practice/competition schedules, organizational skills, and professional interaction with students, parents, and officials. Salary is contract-based with a range of $3,588 to $6,246 per contract, with benefits described in district policies.
