Job Summary
Investment Officer to build and manage client portfolios for Morgan Stanley Family Office (MSFO) clients. Responsibilities include asset allocation and manager selection, risk management and monitoring, sourcing and advising on private markets/co-investment deals and other alternative investments, client discovery, drafting investment policy statements, and providing quarterly reporting. Will ensure administrative/operational activities with outside custodians and trading, reporting, and client cash flows; partner with internal advisors/consultants to win new clients and raise assets; work with internal research teams to provide periodic market and portfolio updates; prepare portfolio allocation and performance reports for investment committee presentations. Knowledge and skills include experience across global capital markets, portfolio management concepts, and strong communication abilities. Qualifications include an undergraduate degree, 5-10 years of relevant experience, and FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses (or willingness to obtain within 120 days); CFA/CAIA and other professional designations are preferred.
