Job Summary
Oversees the delivery of large and complex customer projects, spanning single or multiple regions with high risks and intricate legal/commercial considerations; drives project financials including P&L and budgets, provides reliable forecasts, and leads business development by identifying opportunities with clients. Manages upper-level client relationships and serves as the organization’s representative externally. Heads project teams (fewer than 40) and mentors team members; ensures KPIs are set, tracked, and reported; prioritizes multiple projects to align with customer schedules; collaborates with marketing, sales, and engagement teams to reflect customer needs; applies advanced subject-matter knowledge and independent judgment to resolve issues and shape policies; builds productive internal/external relationships and may mentor lower-level staff.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in project management, HP Services business units, HP global projects, or a related field.
- Preferred Certifications • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
