Job Summary
MS/Tele RN travel contract in Columbia, SC overseeing telemetry nursing duties: administer treatments, interpret telemetry data, coordinate care, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient recovery and safety. Travel involves 3 x 12 hr shifts with float as needed. Requires 2 years of RN experience (including travel), Epic EMR charting, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS, Flu vaccine, EKG onboarding, and preferred Trauma Level I experience. Strong Ortho and Med Surg background advised.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years’ RN experience required — at least 1 completed travel assignment and 2 yrs of RN experience
- Minimum 1 yr recent experience within a large healthcare facility
- 1 year of Epic EMR charting experience required
- Flu Vaccine Required – No Exemptions
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Required to complete an EKG Exam during onboarding
- Trauma Level I Experience Preferred but not required
- Must have strong Ortho and Med Surg experience
- Travel Experience required - 2 years’ experience within specialty required for 1st time travelers
- Float required, as needed
