Job Summary
Senior Infrastructure Engineer responsible for leading the design and standardization of conference room AV/VTC solutions for Microsoft Teams Rooms across multiple facilities. Responsibilities include defining and standardizing hardware footprints for varying room configurations, developing room design standards and reference architectures, evaluating AV/VTC hardware platforms, designing end-to-end Teams Rooms solutions, configuring devices and integrating with Microsoft 365/Teams, leading installations and testing, troubleshooting AV/VTC performance, and producing design documents, BOMs, SOPs, and as-built diagrams. Collaborates with network, collaboration, identity, endpoint, facilities, and security teams to ensure deployments meet enterprise standards and operational requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Audiovisual Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise AV, VTC, unified communications, or collaboration engineering roles
- Demonstrated experience designing and deploying Microsoft Teams Rooms solutions in conference room environments
- Strong knowledge of AV fundamentals (room acoustics, microphone coverage, speaker placement, DSP concepts, signal flow, switching, control systems, displays)
- Strong knowledge of VTC concepts (room-based conferencing, camera framing, codec/peripheral behavior, media quality, interoperability)
- Hands-on experience selecting and integrating AV hardware for a variety of room footprints and use cases
- Experience configuring Microsoft Teams Rooms devices and integrating them with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 services
