MS STEM and Math Teacher

Job Summary
The Middle School STEM and Math Teacher is responsible for designing and delivering an eighth-grade curriculum focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, and teaching two sections of Algebra I. This role includes fostering a dynamic learning environment that encourages student creativity and problem-solving while assessing student progress and adapting lesson plans as necessary. The teacher will also collaborate with colleagues and families, oversee students' well-being, and guide after-school STEM activities, keeping up to date with developments in STEM education.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant STEM field
- Proven experience teaching in a middle school environment

- Masters degree in Education or a relevant STEM field
- Proven experience teaching in a middle school environment
- Advanced knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about fostering a love for STEM within students
