Job Summary
MS Show Choir Sponsor for Norwalk Community School District in Norwalk, IA. Instructs students regarding techniques, rules and practices of the activity; develops and organizes practice program; schedules and conducts practices; supervises students during practices and on trips; promotes the entire activities program; models ethical conduct and sportsmanship; fosters pride in self, team, school, and community; promotes healthy lifestyle among students; assists activities director with eligibility lists; communicates with parents regarding team rules and department guidelines; adheres to district rules and safety laws; performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge and abilities include using computer systems, organizing and coordinating work, effective communication with students/parents/coworkers, self-evaluation for growth, and maintaining cooperative relationships. Working conditions are varied; yearly contract issued.
Required Qualifications
- Previous show choir experience, either as a sponsor or participant, preferred.
