Job Summary
Coordinate and direct daily scheduling activities for in-house and outside patient tests and treatments, including obtaining necessary authorizations. Manage the full patient access workflow from initial contact through final scheduling completion. This role reports to the Patient Services Manager and requires three years of experience in patient access, billing, cash collections, insurance, or pre-certification. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Three (3) years' experience in Patient Access, Billing, Cash Collections, Insurance and/or Pre-certification requirements or directly related experience in a hospital
- All employment is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen
- All employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check
- All employment is contingent upon successful completion of reference verification
- All employment is contingent upon successful completion of a health assessment
- All employment is contingent upon successful completion of credential/license verification
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree, Medical Terminology or Health Care Management
- Five (5) years' experience in Patient Access, Billing, Cash Collections, Insurance and/or Pre-certification requirements or directly related experience in a hospital
