Job Summary
Picks up and delivers customers' mail or associated materials in a timely, safe, and efficient manner, ensuring all USPS deadlines are met. Performs quality checks on customer mail for metering accuracy and verifies piece count sheets, notifying staff of any discrepancies. Maintains assigned vehicle interior and exterior, conducts routine maintenance, and reports malfunctions or accidents per company policy. Unloads mail upon return, assists with palletizing, and delivers client supplies as directed. Dresses in uniform, maintains a professional appearance, and listens to service complaints. Works part-time Monday through Friday, 1:15 PM to 5:15 PM, with occasional weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- Current driver's license
- pallet jack certification
- Less than 3 moving violations in the past 5 years
- No accidents wherein the employee was at fault in the past 3 years
- No DWI within last 5 years
- Must be eligible to be covered by Company's business and auto insurance policy
- Must be able to pass a background check in accordance to Mail Services guidelines
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds
