Job Summary
Conduct music ensemble activities for the strings section and facilitate student learning at Olentangy Shanahan Middle School. Schedule and publicize special events while managing department inventory and assisting administration with budget requisitions. Exhibit professional behavior, exercise sound judgment, and share best practices among administrators and teachers. Compile and maintain records to ensure compliance with Ohio Department of Education permit requirements. Support the school's mission of inclusive excellence by engaging diverse students and staff in a collaborative learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pupil Activity Permit with the Ohio Department of Education
- Eligibility for a valid Pupil Activity Permit with the Ohio Department of Education
- Fundamentals of Coaching component of the Pupil Activity Permit
- Concussion Training component of the Pupil Activity Permit
- Valid CPR certification
- First Aid, Health and Safety for Coaches component of the Pupil Activity Permit
- Professional behavior
- Sound judgement
- Knowledge of the supplemental
- Skills that foster and facilitate student learning
- Ability to facilitate the sharing of best practices
- Ability to facilitate communication among administrators and teachers
- Ability to assist administration with budget
- Ability to manage requisitions
- Ability to compile and maintain department inventory
