MS Math Tutor

Tutor and work with individual students or groups in assigned subjects, addressing areas of weakness identified from STAAR/EOC testing and benchmark exams. Maintain an orderly work area, keep records of student progress including behavior and attendance, and uphold school rules and state policies. Communicate with teachers regarding academic needs, inform supervisors of special student problems, and prepare required reports and timesheets. Provide a positive, calm learning environment while protecting student confidentiality and safety. Maintain a professional relationship with campus staff and serve as a positive role model. Requires a high school diploma, Texas teaching certificate preferred, and successful completion of substitute teacher orientation.
