MS/HS Library Technician

Provide direct literacy intervention and instructional support to identified at-risk students, focusing on reading comprehension, vocabulary development, and engagement with text. Reinforce teacher-directed strategies and assist students in accessing appropriately leveled materials while collaborating with classroom teachers and intervention staff to identify literacy needs. Maintain records of intervention services and support Tier 2 and Tier 3 academic assistance efforts aligned with district MTSS processes. Secondary responsibilities include assisting with the organization and maintenance of library resources, supporting circulation, and maintaining organized shelving and inventory. This role works collaboratively with the certified librarian and classroom team to remove barriers to curriculum access and improve student literacy achievement through targeted support and instructional reinforcement.
