Job Summary
Bilingual Cloud Managed Services Engineer (L3) responsible for delivering managed cloud services to clients, including pre-sales support, architectural design, incident and problem resolution, and ongoing operational improvements. The role emphasizes technical leadership, cross-cultural communication (English & Japanese), and collaboration with vendors and internal teams to ensure SLA adherence, quality, and cost efficiency. Key activities include solution design for cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments, preparing proposals and SOWs, coordinating with clients on incidents and improvements, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to project work. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computing or related field (or equivalent experience), JLPT N2 or equivalent, and strong ITIL/service-management capability. Must be capable of working onsite in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, with readiness to engage with diverse international clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computing, or related discipline (or equivalent relevant experience)
- Japanese Language proficiency certification (JLPT N2 or equivalent)
- Fluent communication skill in English & Japanese
- Seasoned experience within medium to large ICT or cloud service organizations
- Proven experience in Managed Services environments, supporting enterprise customers
- Strong working knowledge of ITIL processes and service management frameworks
