Job Summary
MS Engineer (L1) role providing first-level technical support for end-users, covering hardware, software, and network issues. Responsibilities include installation, configuration, and maintenance of end-user computing devices, troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices, monitoring network/server performance, coordinating with customers and vendors, handling service/change requests, documenting incidents in the ticketing system, and keeping up-to-date knowledge of products and infrastructure. Requires bilingual Japanese and English (JLPT N2 level for non-native, or business English for native speakers), ability to work in 12-hour rotating shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage, and experience in helpdesk/service desk environments with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred certifications/experience include ITIL, CompTIA A+, Network+, and familiarity with monitoring tools; workplace is Hybrid in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma, degree, or relevant qualification preferably IT/Computing OR Equivalent work experience related to IT helpdesk/ customer service/ customer support
